BUS SERVICE

Because of my investments in interfaith work, I live "low to the ground" and do not own a car.

It is ironic that rich Johnson County and other areas of the metro cannot afford adequate bus service while poor Kansas City does offer bus routes enabling citizens to enjoy travel to many major venues in Kansas City while also respecting environmental virtue.

Folks kindly invite me to be their guest at worthwhile events, but I must decline if it is not possible to arrange transportation.

Those who invite me to fundraisers may wish to understand my financial situation.

Thank you for understanding.

Vern Barnet
I don't have a car; public transportation in Johnson County is a problem. Are you inviting others who might be driving from my area of town (Westport--map) or at the bus stop at Ward Parkway Shopping Center? If they could give me a ride, I would be happy to accept your invitation. If this is awkward and arrangements cannot be made, I certainly understand.
In any event, please know that I value your friendship and your work to make ours a better community.
